Terms of Service

1. Who can use ShipShape

You must be at least 16 years old and able to agree to these terms. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details safe, and keep to one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

2. What ShipShape is

ShipShape is a community. Builders share products and ask for feedback. Shapers are builders who offer their time to look at other people's products. Sessions are free, about 25 minutes, and held on a video call set up by the people taking part (for example a Google Meet link). ShipShape does not run, record or supervise the call.

3. Feedback is opinion

What a Shaper tells you is their personal view. It is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice, and we do not guarantee any result. You decide what to do with it. Shapers are volunteers and are not our employees or agents.

4. Your content

• You keep ownership of what you post: your profile, products, screenshots, ships, reviews and comments.
• You give ShipShape a licence to store and show that content as the service needs. Products, profiles, ships, upvotes and public reviews can be seen by anyone, including people who are not signed in.
• Private notes in a session request are shown only to the Shaper you book. Do not put real passwords, payment details or other secrets in any field. Use a demo account.
• Only post what you have the right to share. Do not post other people's private information.

5. Rules

Do not harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone. Do not post spam, scams, malware, illegal content or anything sexually explicit. Do not pretend to be someone else, scrape the site, overload it, or try to get around its limits or security. Do not record a session without everyone's clear consent. Treat what you see in a session as private unless the other person says you can share it.

6. Reports and moderation

You can report a product, profile or review from its page. We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules or put people at risk. We try to be fair, but we decide. To appeal or to report something urgent, write to shipshape624@gmail.com.

7. Leaving

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. This removes your profile, products, comments and upvotes, and every session you took part in, including the other person's copy of it. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

8. Service and liability

ShipShape is provided "as is", without promises that it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the service, from what other users say or do, or from relying on feedback. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change matters, we will say so on the site or by email. Using ShipShape after a change means you accept it.
